Dave Clark's House
Thank you Isabell!! She brought the Rivanna up 22 feet (which was at 3′)! It looks like the level is peaking at 25 feet, which means by Sunday it should be back down to a nice, safe, yet challenging introductory level. Take the chance while we have the water. The Rivanna is perfect for beginners with its narrow width, fun class I and II rapids, short section (~4 miles), and its right in our back yard! This trip is for experienced beginners. In order to sign up you need to have taken the “learning the basics” class we offer or something similar. Please do not sign up if you are an intermediate or better paddler, if you are and want to go, drop me a line instead. 760-2739.
The club provides the boats, gear, and ride. You should bring a towel, sunscreen, swimwear, footwear that you don’t mind getting wet, water, and pack a lunch (we’ll stop on a rock to eat).
