Intro to Climbing Workshop

OVERVIEW

the weather is (hopefully??) going to be warming up soon so that we can begin to lead more climbing trips out of doors! therefore if you’re itching to learn some safety protocol and cool climbing things before the semester ends, I have the trip for you!!

**This is a required workshop for everyone looking to climb in the club**
The workshop will meet at 116 Washington Avenue (aka the Shred Shack) and we will cover basic climbing skills (toprope belaying, knots, gear, commands, etc) needed to climb with the club. This is a great way to get preference on climbing trips, and you’ll also be able to pass the belay certification test as Peak! what fun!

there will be two classes: one at 9am and one at 10:30am, indicate your preference on the trip questionnaire and I will let you know which class you are in!
