OVERVIEW

James River Runners is hosting their annual chili cookoff, which has 25 registered teams cooking giant vats of chili. We will drive down to scottsville, stuff our faces with chili and play around in the water! The river is really high right now, and James River Runners is not outfitting tubers because of it, but this might mean fun for some boating!

I’m not going to make this an official kayaking trip, but if you have a boat and want to bring it let me know.

What to bring:
-sunglasses
-sunscreen
-14$ cash for the entrance fee
-boat and gear if you wish

What the club provides:
-gas
-sweet ride in a minivan
