The AFC clocktower
somewhere near grounds, probably ohill
some local trees
Helloo all!
Have you seen the little blue tree berries? The ones that grow on dark green evergreen trees and mayhaps surprise you with their delicious scent? Did you know that those berries taste like slightly bitter winter holidays and joy? Wellllp they taste quite a bit better if ya boil them down with some sugar and make a SYRUP/TEA!!
The plan for this trip is to wander around to some local spots with collection vessels, (whilst exclaiming about the beauty & strength of the Juniper tree), then sit down at a cozy spot in the woods to boil things together and, at long last, take our creations home for use on pancakes or with drinks or whatever wild things you can come up with! We will definitely spend some time talking about getting proper plant ID, potential poisonous look-alikes and some rules of thumb for sustainable foraging.
Please note that we’re starting at the AFC Clocktower and not the Corner of Echols! The plan is to have completed the whole process within 2 or 3 hrs, but will be local and can be flexible with time.
