Beaver Creek
The eskimo roll is a necessary tool for advanced white water kayaking. If you want to learn how to roll your boat back up after flipping over, come out to Beaver Creek this Friday night for a couple of hours. I’ll be teaching the techniques involved in 2 different types of rolling – the sweep roll and the hip-snap roll. The class will be divided up into 2 shifts, but you should plan on staying the whole time so that you can get multiple chances to practice. Don’t worry if you can’t make it this Friday, this will be the first of many roll workshops…Trip may be canceled depending on weather.
