Kayak Roll Class

OVERVIEW

This Saturday I’ll be at Walnut Creek teaching the Eskimo roll to anyone who wants to learn to roll their white water kayak back up after it tips over. In order to participate you must be comfortable under the water in a boat and are prepared for cold water conditions. Dress warm, in layers, and bring lots of warm fuzzy clothes to change into after. I’ll be staying at the park after the trip so you’ll have to drive yourself out or we can arrange for car pooling. You can follow the ‘Walnut Creek Park’ trip destination link to find the directions. Please sign up even if the trip is full, I may expand it if there is enough interest.

We provide:
Boat/gear, wetsuit, nylon splash jacket (wind breaker)

You should provide:
A ride to Walnut Creek Park (I can arrange car pooling), layers of non-cotton (if you can) warm clothes, water, snacks or lunch if you want, towel, gloves
