Kayaking on Friday– Beginnerish

OVERVIEW

Hey guys,

I’m planning on paddling the Lower James though Richmond on Friday afternoon. It’s a class 2-3 run and the water will be pretty chilly so I’d recommend only signing up if you have rolled before (either with me or in the past). That being said it’s a great place to be introduced to some fun rapids and maybe get a bit out of your comfort zone at the same time. Hoping to leave around noon and return around 6pm, and I am going to limit it to 4 people at the moment but that could change depending on who decides to come, number of cars, etc.

Club will provide any boating/ cold water gear you may need

Bring some water, change of clothes, towel, warm synthetic layers, and any snacks you may want.
