Come cool off from this crazy heat and learn some White Water Kayaking basics!!
Me And Victoria Alvarez will be co-leading this trip and teaching a lucky few the basics of kayaking and how to roll a whitewater kayak!!
We’ll head out from the Shred Shack at 10:00am on Sunday Sep. 2nd, head over to Darden Towe Park (15 minute drive to a section of the Rivanna River) and spend and hour to an hour and a half out in the water! Should be back by 12pm-ish.
You should bring: water bottle, a towel, wear swimsuit/clothes and shoes that can get wet, and a change of clothes
I’ll provide all gear and boats!
Due to the instructional basis of this trip, I can only bring 3 members, but if you don’t get on– fear not!! I’ll be leading these clinics on a nearly weekly basis while the weather stays nice, so keep checking your emails!!
