Kellogg Mountain Sunrise Series, pt. 1

OVERVIEW

What’s up, dirtbags!

I just checked the forecast for Friday and it’s gonna be a balmy 69 degrees which means you KNOW it’s a good day for a trip.

Here’s the plan:
– meet by the bus stop at Kellogg House at 6:15am
– sit down on the grass by the top of the ramp and get the finest view of sunrise on grounds
– sing campfire songs and drink hot beverages
– say good morning to the sun as it crosses the horizon at 6:53am
– go start our day having been rejuvenated by 7am

You bring:
– hot water or a hot beverage of your choice
– layers (it’ll still be chilly in the morning!)
– blankets

I bring
– my ukulele
– hot chocolate packets
– the ability to sing at least two (2) songs decently

If you are driving, you can park at slaughter rec center for free until 7:30am, which is plenty of time for our purposes
