Last Minute Beginner Backpacking Workshop!

OVERVIEW

Why helloooo friends!!! As finals dwindle, do you also feel a calling to gallump through the trees?? Smorgage with the grass?? Get together with your favorite ODC friends for what is maybe the LAST TIME in this Gregorian year??? OR LEARN A FEW SWANKY THINGS ABOUT BACKPACKING AND DRINK HOT COCO ON THE LAWN??

Keep pondering these answers, but we know they are a yes. So come join Eliza and I in a booming METAPHYSICAL BACKPACKING WORKSHOP!!! We know everyone’s busy so we gon keep this short and sweet:

Monday, 4:30 roll up at gear room (directions to get there are in website and you can text one of us bc it is tricky location)
4:30-5:00: Fit ourselves with packs and gear, learn about which gear works for certain situations and forge a spiritual connection with some oft-forgotten sleeping pad or bag in the gear room.
5:00-6:15: PROUNCE TO LAWN AS A TRIAL BACKPACKING TRIP, SET UP OUR TENTS LOUD N PROUD, CONSUME SOME HOT COCO GRACE ENTHUSIASTICALLY BRINGS.
5:34: Add whipped cream to hot coco??????
6:30: Dally back to gear room, ponder on the beautiful backpacking expertise we gained and experiences we shared and go forth into this sweet night.

This trip is perfect for someone who wants to learn more about backpacking but hasn’t gotten to go on a trip yet, or anyone who identifies with the backpack spirit and wants to join for a goooooood time!!! Bring your beautiful self, some agua or snacks, and let’s see where the world takes us.

We know it’s finals so if this trip doesn’t get enough interest we are happy to reschedule for next semester so more bodies can learn about getting into backpacking 🙂
