Bonnycastle Circle
Snowshoe Mountain
Snowshoe’s website claims that they have 7 weeks of great skiing remaining. With the recent warm spell, I don’t know about all that, but apparently they have all but one trail open still. Let’s head on out!
This trip is last minute, so it is tentative. I need enough people to sign up by Thursday night who are pretty positive they can make the trip. Then, I need to book a cabin (Cass said yesterday they had two 6 person cabins left, who knows if they’ll still be around Thursday evening). If it works out, and we can keep costs under $30, then great! Otherwise the trip will be canceled and I will make a day trip.
Here’s the plan: Drive up Friday leaving at 6, stay at Cass, head back to cville Sunday afternoon. I have set the cost right now as $0 because the final costs will be entirely dependent upon how many peeps sign up. Also, I will add people to the trip as drivers sign up.
What the club will cover: food, gas, lodging: $5 person/night
What you owe:
With Snowshoe season pass: only lodging costs
Without Snowshoe season pass:
You are responsible for purchasing lift tickets and rental gear.
Come on guys, let’s use those season passes!
