Shrack (116 washington ave)

Have you been interested in biking, but exams have really cramped your style? Well, Anusha and I are going to lead a beginner mountain bike ride! Exams are finished and the trails are looking good. The weather is beautiful and I can’t wait to spread the stoke of mtn biking before I leave for the summer!
This is a WTF ride of the semester, which means Women, Trans, and Femme. Since mountain biking is such a male-dominated sport, both in our club and in general, we decided to make this an affinity trip for our women, trans, and nonbinary members! Anyone is welcome to join this trip, but it is aimed for people who identify with WTF!
On the ride we will go over basic body position, braking, and everything to make you comfortable on the bike! The pace will be nice and slow with lots of breaks. The only prerequisite for this trip is being able to ride a bike comfortably and safely. Mtn biking can be considered dangerous and has inherent risks, so if you have any questions about it shoot me a text 434-664-5154.
***this trip isn’t necessarily first come first serve, as removal from the waitlist will be based on bike size availability, however we will try our best to go in order of sign ups***
