Late Arrival NRGE – CRANBERRY GLADES (BOG!) day hike

OVERVIEW

Have some Friday night commitments? A Saturday morning soiree? A hankering to explore a Unique Ecosystem in WV? An interest in cranberries, cranberry juice, or cranberry jam?

If yes, then this trip is for you! I will be driving down to NRGE around 12:30 pm on the 15th (Saturday). We’ll leave c’ville, stop at the Cranberry Glades botanical area which protects the LARGEST bog in WV, hike around for an hour or 2, and then mosey our way over to Rays Campground, to be wonderfully late and to excitedly reconvene with our ODC friends and folk.

Bring:
-water and snacks for hiking
-weather appropriate clothing

– DO NOT sign up for this trip if you plan on going to NRGE on Friday (10/14)
– the NRGE carpool is $10 and that you MUST sign up for that SEPARATELY//AFTER becoming an adventurer on this (or any other NRGE) trip.
– Pay CLOSE ATTENTION to the information listed on the main carpool and the NRGE announcement for information about necessary supplies/food/etc so that you are prepared to have a great weekend
– AGAIN, SIGN UP FOR THE NRGE CARPOOL AFTER GETTING ON THIS (OR ANY OTHER) TRIP!
