LEARN 2 CLIMB AT SPRGE!! (beginner top rope)

OVERVIEW

Have you never climbed with ropes before??? PERFECT!!! Alas, both of your trusty odc climbing advisers are injured. BUT THAT ISN’T STOPPING US (+ VIA!!) FROM TEACHING YOU TO CLIMB!!

We are planning to go to Bridge Buttress which is a great crag for beginners with lots of lower-graded climbs (5.5-5.9). This trip will prioritize those who have never climbed outdoors before but we also welcome intermediate climbers!

You bring:
– Water
– Food/Snacks
– Layers
– Harness
–belay device w locking carabiners
– Helmet
– Climbing shoes
– Chalk

We will bring:
– Ropes
– Draws
– Alpines
– Anchors

Timeline:
8:30 am — gather at Rays and prepare to head out
9:00 am — leave for the crag
9:30 am – 5:00 pm-ish — climb! climb! climb!
5:00 pm-ish — head back to Rays
