Interested in climbing? Come learn all the basics about:
– equipment- shoes, harnesses, ATCs
– safety points and checks
– top rope belay techniques
– knots
– basic climbing technique and body movement
After we learn all the steps to properly setting up and belaying top rope, you will be free to try out some climbs or test out bouldering! We will be going to Rocky Top gym, here in Charlottesville. The cost is $8 for students– PLEASE BRING CASH
