Learn to Climb at NRGE!!!

OVERVIEW

Do YOU want to learn how to top rope climb outdoors? Have you never climbed with ropes before??? PERFECT!!! Come learn how to climb with me at NRGE. We are planning to go to Bridge Buttress which is a great crag for beginners with lots of lower-graded climbs (5.5-5.9). This trip will prioritize those who have never climbed outdoors before as well as first-time NRGE-ians.

You bring:
– Water
– Food/Snacks
– Layers
– Harness
– Helmet
– Belay device with a locking carabiner
– Climbing shoes
– Chalk

We will bring:
– Ropes
– Draws
– Alpines
– Anchors

Timeline:
8:30 am — gather at Rays and prepare to head out
9:00 am — leave for the crag
9:30 am – 5:00 pm-ish — climb! climb! climb!
5:00 pm-ish — head back to Rays
