Is your bike making mystery crunchy noises? Do your brakes squeal? Does your chain jump around every time you pedal? Then come learn how to fix these problems and more this Tuesday!
Bikes are great as they provide accessible transportation, exercise, and fun. Unfortunately they have many moving parts that can become unaligned or break and thus this workshop is here to help you learn to spot these issues and fix them yourself.
Common problems we can fix during this clinic:
– Low tire pressure
– Flat, damaged, or popped tube
– Old tires
– Worn out brakes
– Dirty chain and/or cassette
– Clicking noise while pedaling
– Chain falls off while shifting gears
– Poor shifting
We will be meeting and doing bike work at the Shred Shack. You don’t have to be here for the full 2 hours so feel free to drop by whenever. If your repair is more involved, I’ll ask you to get there towards the beginning.
In the questionnaire, please provide a robust description of the problem or thing you’re trying to fix. Depending on the issue, I will reach out for some more details, might ask for some pictures, and if new parts are needed I can buy them at our local bike shop, Endeavor Cycles, and then you can reimburse me for the cost.
Also if you want to learn how to bunny hop a mountain bike, you should join Phillips trips as it starts right after this one ends:
