Leg 1 of Summer: Vancouver, Bc

OVERVIEW

I flew threw Vancouver last summer, and I’ve wanted to go back ever since. It’s a pretty spectacular city. Set on a sound, surrounded by the towering Pacific Rockies, to-be host of the 2010 Olympic games.

Tickets from Dulles are about 440 right now, and I don’t know how long that will last. I want to get some and go and then daydream about it all the way through finals.

Things we might could do:
Backpack and camp like crazy in the glacier-rent BC national parks
Surf kayaking
Chasing ‘killer’ whales in sea kayaks
Rafting the big BC rivers
Camping on the abundant beaches
Enjoy a little Canadian city nightlife
Enjoy a little the Canadian exchange rate

This other stuff will obviously push the trip cost up. If I hear that people are interested, we can probably be some flexible with travel dates/ activities planned.
