Contemplative Commons
Contemplative Commons, Emmet Street South, Charlottesville, VA, USA
Hello friends!
Life moves pretty fast at UVA and I am sure all of you are feeling pretty slammed with work right now. I’d like to invite you to take some time to slow down by exploring the Contemplative Commons space, its offerings, and doing some nature connection practices. Let’s ask ourselves these questions: What does it mean to meaningfully engage with our environment? How can we deepen our connection with nature, and what can that do to promote our well-being and flourishing? How are contemplation and our relationship with the environment connected?
We will start with a general tour and exploration of the space, then we will dive into some contemplation and nature connection practices. They will be having crafts and snacks there as well (a great example of events they host that you can take advantage of)! Join Jackie and I to learn more about this space and how we can make use of it!
What to bring:
– water as always
– maybe a journal to write in
– love and open-mindedness
We hope to see you there & let us know if you have any questions!
