Fayette Station Public River Access - Lower New River Take-out, Fayette Station Road, Fayetteville, WV, USA
Let’s go raft the Lower New! We’re going alongside John’s kayaking trip, and doing intermediate rafting on plenty of class III+ rapids.
The White Water:
The weather and the water temperatures are both going to be around 75°F, the New will be around 1 foot. This is an intermediate rafting trip, but the only real prerequisites is being good swimmer (understanding that this is strong moving water), paddler, and able to fit in a life jacket. I will talk all rafters through the basics of river safety before we put in.

Notice – Whitewater sports are inherently dangerous. We lead trips at a level where we feel confident about our ability to keep people on our trip safe. Your safety also depends on you and your honest communication of your abilities and state of being, as well as respect towards any safety advice. It is a requirement to know how to swim to attend this trip.
