Location Change: Old Rag -> Mcafee’s Knob

OVERVIEW

*DRIVERS NEEDED – you will be paid $$$ if you show up with a full tank of gas! (full reimbursement + 50% tip)*

Rookie mistake: you can only have 2 hikes reimbursed to the same place in a week, so Old Rag is out for this weekend. HOWEVER McAfee’s Knob looks to be just as spectacular. It’s an 8ish mile hike that takes you up to a rock hang off cliff thing and 270-degree panoramic views (spoilers @ https://www.visitroanokeva.com/things-to-do/outdoor-adventure/appalachian-trail/mcafee-knob/). The catch: it’s about 2 hours away, but as one of the most photographed locations on the Appalachian Trail, it will definitely be worth it!!

-start hiking @10
-eat lunch and take pics at the top!
-on the road by 2/2:30?
-back by 4ish
