Helloooo amigos!!! As this equinox descends upon us this Satur, Cville as a whole is uniting in our annual trail celebratin, bike galoshing, run hikin, LOOP DeVILLE!!! For those of you who haven’t heard, Loop DeVille is a town-wide celebration of our lovely Rivanna Trail, who embraces Charlottesville in her 24-mile-long arms circumscribing the city!!!
Loop DeVille is a free event calling the whole town to unite and gallump in the outdoors, and they are calling for volunteers to make this happen!! This is where ODC comes in: we are going to help out at some aid stations providing food n stoke to the runners / hikers / bikers completing the whole Rivanna Trail, and we will also volunteer as runners who trot along the trail leading the masses!!! So whether you’d rather hang at an aid station for an hour or two or jump into the RTF full pull alongside Marion and myself, we would LOVE TO HAVE YOU!!!! This year is extra boomin because one of the groups putting on the event, the Charlottesville Albemarle Mountain Biking Club (CAMBC) Is celebrating its 20-year anniversary, so that means EXTRA STOKE and also a FREE CONCERT with drinks n food after the trail festivities!!!!!

**This means your volunteering times will be variable, so although I put 9AM as the start time for this trip, you may start earlier or later depending on your volunteering activity!
You can sign up for a specific volunteering time slot (i.e. specific aid station for a certain time, or runner like Marion and myself), then just let us know in the trip questions what ya signed up for and we’ll make a group chat to coordinate! You’ll receive further instruction from CAMBC and other Loop DeVille organizing folks. 🙂
Also, we all get a free t-shirt and Bodo’s so the trail do be taking care of all our physical needs on this equinox.
