Make Grounds Greener!! Tree Planting Trip at Hereford

OVERVIEW

Hey everyone!

Join Cat and Cam as we help plant a mini forest on Grounds!! This is a volunteer event organized by Forest Patches at UVA to plant mini forests on grounds as part of UVA’s broader decarbonization initiatives. We’ll plant trees a little up the road from Hereford’s student garden. There will also be BAGELS (yum we know)!! They’ll provide gloves and equipment, so all we’ve gotta do is show up and support them in their amazing project.

To bring:
– Water
– Clothes you don’t mind working in
– Your awesome and stoked self

Schedule:
– 1:20 pm— meet at shred shack (116 Washington ave)
– 1:25 pm— walk to Hereford
– 1:30 to 3:30 ish— plant!
