With the weekend weather looking good, I’m in the mood to explore more of Shenandoah National Park. AllTrails says its 3.4 miles of out-and-back with 1200 feet of elevation gain (and loss, technically) with gorgeous views of the park. I have the trip labeled as intermediate due to the elevation gain but we’ll take a reasonable pace and have plenty of allotted time for completion. Let’s enjoy the views and snacks on what should be clear Sunday!

Itinerary:
– 10 AM: Meet & leave from Echols.
– 11:30 AM: Arrive at trailhead & begin hiking (Panorama Lower Parking Area).
– 2:30 PM: Return to trailhead and head back.
-4 PM: Return to grounds.
What to Bring:
– Water (2+ Liters).
– Comfortable hiking shoes/boots.
– Snacks.
*DRIVERS WILL GET PRIORITY OFF THE WAITLIST!!* I will be driving but having another driver will allow us to have a group of up to 8 people. Anyone willing to drive will receive priority off the waitlist along with full gas reimbursement and a 50% tip. I will also give priority to someone with a Shenandoah National Park pass assuming we find another driver.
