McAfee Knob Day Hike

OVERVIEW

You’re tired; I’m tired. Let’s reset with one of the most beautiful hikes in Virginia! McAfee Knob is about an 8-mile hike with around 1700 feet of elevation gain, so it’s not too strenuous, but it’s enough to get your blood pumping.

The Plan
Meet at Echols at 830
Drive ~2 hours to the trailhead
Hike up and take in the views
Arrive back at Cville around 430

Bring:
– Good shoes for hiking
– 1-2L of Water
– Food for the top
-Layers for those cold temps

Drivers are needed and will be prioritized! Reimbursement+tip, as always.
