Mid-Finals Snowshoe

OVERVIEW

For those of us who have a tasty little break in the middle of finals, it’s a perfect time to hit up Snowshoe Mountain in West Virginia.

Depending on how early everyone can leave on Tuesday 12/11, we will ski/ride for either two or three days.

Probable Schedule:
Tuesday 12/11 – Leave cville and drive to the condo RIGHT ON THE MOUNTAIN 200 METERS FROM LIFT. Ski/ride if we have time for at least a half day.
Wednesday 12/12 – Ski/ride all day.
Thursday 12/13 – Ski/ride all day, drive home when mountain closes around 4 pm. Arrive back in cville around 8.

What you provide:
snowboard/ski or money to rent
warm/waterproof clothing
Sleeping bag (there will be 2 queens and 2 twin beds)
extra money for food (club provides for some, but you might want snacks)
$37 total for lodging (assuming 6 attendees)

$39×2=$78 for lift tickets if you do not have the snowshoe pass
$33x2days=$66 for snowboard rentals if you need
$29x2days=$58 for ski rentals if you need

I will waitlist everyone until drivers sign up.

As always, the club reimburses for gas money + 15% for those who drive.
