Mid-Morning Humpback Hike!

OVERVIEW

Hey y’all

Anyone else wanna go check out the lovely local humpback rocks hike but don’t really wanna get up early enough for sunrise, or just want to get out of studying for a bit before the end of exams. This sounds like the trip for you!
The plan is to meet up at the corner of Echols right around 9:30, head over to the trailhead, take a leisurely stroll up to the summit, chill for a little while, head back down, and return to C-ville. It’s only a couple of miles and should be a pretty easy hike for everyone.

Schedule:
9:30 AM – Meet @ corner of Echols Dorm
10 – Arrive at the trailhead
10:45 – get to the summit to chill and snack
11:30 – arrive back at the car(s)
12 – Back in Charlottesville

Stuff to Bring:
Water
Layers (it’s December and kinda cold)
Shoes you’re comfortable hiking in
Maybe some snacks
