Mindfulness Moment on the Lawn

OVERVIEW

I don’t know about y’all, but my school year is already proving hectic and it’s just begun! So what better way to end our first full week of classes and welcome in the weekend than with some time soaking in the sun with friends on the Lawn?

My thoughts here are just to meet as a group on the Lawn with picnic blankets and whatever you’d like to do to occupy yourself! I’d love to do a mindfulness-focused part of the trip, whether it’s individual journaling, art-making, or a guided group meditation.

That being said, I’m planning on chilling on the Lawn for a while! So I’ll also be bringing a speaker and a deck of cards or two for anyone who wants to make use of those.

The Plan:
12:15pm – Meet on the Rotunda steps facing the Lawn!
12:20 – Pick a nice spot to sit on down and soak in the sun for as long or as little as we’d like
1:15 (or whenever you desire) – Part ways

What to Bring:
– A picnic blanket/towel/crazy creek to sit on
– Water
– Any journals/paper/stationery/cards/books you may want!
