Mindfulness Overnight Trip to Assateague Island

OVERVIEW

Now you may be thinking, there is a glitch in the system… however I can assure you that this is also a trip to Assateague Island just a few days before because I have wanted to go see the wild horsies and watch the sunrise on the beach whilst I am out in America… and I leave the states to head back to rainy England a few days later 🙁
The drive is about 5 hours away so we will stop off en route but we will need a driver / two people who can drive so drivers and car bearers SIGN up ! If you have finished your exams (or simply if ya just wanna see some horsies) and take a moment out of cville to feel mindful and clearheaded whilst surrounding ourselves in nature and horsies then this is the triperoo for you. i would have liked to make this trip longer but i have an important meeting i have to be back in cville for sadly so this is a short but sweet trip away. We will be staying in a campsite which will cost $15 each but bring some extra money to provide for any other costs you may require.

The plan is as follows:
Day 1 –
– leave Charlottesville at 10am.
– stop en route to grab lunch or snacks.
– arrive at Assateague State Park mid afternoon.
– swim, vibe, chill n walk to see the wild horsies.
– enjoy the sunset and have dinner

Day 2:
– morning swim, meditate if you please, breakfast.
– chill, vibe, read, write, discuss poems, walk around and vib3
– leave around 11am/12pm.
– return to cville for 5:30pm est.

I will provide:
– tent.
– firewood to make a fire and keep toasty.

You will provide:
– snacks and any food you want to provide for dinner and breakfast the following day.
– sleeping bag, matt, pillow if you like.
– swimwear, towel and any clothes you want to keep you warm.
– books to read or anything you will need to feel mindful.
– if you have your own tent and would prefer to sleep in your own tent then that’s fine too.
