Mini-Woodstock, need I say more? Come enjoy hours and hours of great live music while relaxing on a big farm field, ingesting and imbibing whatever you bring along, inhaling … fresh farm air, basking in the sun, all late afternoon and evening long, then sleeping out or in a tent. Feel free to bring along homework or other things to read as well. Definitely check out the links provided below! This may be my last adventure, so I’m really hoping to see all of the truly wonderful and amazing people I have met in this club over the past few years! And if you’ve never gone on a club trip before, come blow off your end-of-semester steam and make some new friends with some really great people. Non-member friends are welcome to come if they bring all of their own camping gear (can rent at Outdoor Rec Center next to the Cavalier Inn on Emmet St.) and if they bring their own food / food money.
Outdoors at UVa provides:
Gas money or a seat in a car, camping gear, and whatever food we can find in the equipment room.
You must bring:
Please bring $35 cash for the event ticket (including camping) or buy it online for a few bucks less (click internet link below, scroll to bottom of page, venue name = Freek Fest 2). In addition, please bring food or money for meals in case you’re not down with eating the stuff we find in the equipment room, or in case there’s not enough to go around. Also bring sun tan lotion, warm clothes for when it’s chilly at night, and fun stuff like a frisbee, beverages *but no glass containers*, holistic and bohemian spirit, etc….
