Moab Mtb Conditioning/Crash-Course Series Episode 4 — Sunday Afternoon Shuttle Descent

OVERVIEW

~~~ SERIES DESCRIPTION ~~~
In order to maximize enjoyment for myself and others on Moab’s legendary trails, I’m launching a series of mountain biking trips over the next week meant to sharpen technical and physical shredding abilities/endurance.

These trips will be small, intense, and efficient so that I can have as many as possible before departing.

Beginners are especially welcome to join, but expect to exert yourself. Non-Moab-ers are also welcome to join as well.

All trips will be capped at 3 people total (my bike rack only holds 3) and I can provide club bikes and helmets of any size for the other two people on the trip if needed.

That being said, if you have your own bike and method of transportation to the trail and are on the waitlist, feel free to meet us at the trailhead.

~~~ Episode IV: Sunday Afternoon Technical Descent ~~~

Sunday afternoon I’m going to the GW National Forest to practice some sick rock garden descending. It’s an ~8 mile descent (!!!) and we’ll most likely have two cars to set up a shuttle.

THE PLAN: Meet at Echols at 1:30pm, drive an hour, shred for an hour or two, achieve shredlightenment, drive back, be back in Cville before 6 (more likely closer to 5).

This trip will be more advanced than the others in the series, so I’d recommend joining only if you’re at least an intermediate rider (if you’re uncertain what level you’re at, email me). The trip cap will also be greater than 3 people for this ride, however all will be waitlisted initially and will be taken off depending on skill level and club bike availability.
