Monacan Nation Museum Visit

OVERVIEW

Have YOU enjoyed using the beautiful land in good ole Virginia? Do you also want to learn how to better respect and acknowledge the land? Then join us on Dec 2nd for a service trip to the Monacan Nation Museum to learn about the land that we have been using. We will take a tour of the Monacan Nation Museum for an opportunity to learn about the history of the land. It will be a great way to give back to the land that we use by learning how to better respect and appreciate it.

Plan:
-10:40 am- meet at Echols Dorm
-12 pm- arrive at the Monacan Museum
-12-1 pm- have a guided tour
-1 pm- eat lunch / continue to explore the museum
-1:30 ish- leave for UVA
-2:45 pm- arrive at Echols Dorm

Things to bring-
-lunch & water
-an open mind to learn about the Monacan Nation
