Monkeying Around in the Magnolias!

What’s up tree huggers!

As I’m sure you’re all aware, Thursday will be gloriously warm and sunny (never mind why that is…), and I want to take advantage of it! I’ve been eyeing the magnolia trees along the sides of the Lawn for the past few weeks and they look oh so climbable, so I figured I’d lead a silly little tree climbing trip to enjoy the good weather together!

So if you’re interested in throwing it back to when you were a kid and joining me in some good ol tree climbing (and maybe some Lawn bonding? feel free to bring a book or journal!), go ahead and sign on up!

Here’s the Plan.
– 11:00am… Meet me on the Rotunda steps! Be on the lookout for a 5’0” brunette with bangs. I promise I don’t bite.
– 11:05ish… Group migration to climb some trees! This will be a very choose your challenge-type adventure, since I can’t imagine falling out of a tree is particularly enjoyable (and would personally like to avoid that situation entirely). If you just want to come enjoy the outdoors without taking your feet off the ground, that’s also a perfectly valid option. I’ll be happy to have you regardless of how high you climb.
– 11:45 or so… Disband! I’ll probably stick around and do some reading on the Lawn afterwards and anyone is welcome to hang out for longer and join me.

Wear shoes that you can climb in and clothes you can move in (and that you don’t mind maybe getting a little dirty)!
