Moonlight Night Hike

OVERVIEW

We are at the start of a supermoon trifecta. This astronomically cool event (pun totally intended) means a full moon that is incredibly large and bright is happening until Tuesday night. Which, coincidentally, makes Tuesday night the perfect night to hike Humpback by the light of this moon.

Plan:
8 pm: Meet at Echols
8:40: Begin Hike
9:15: Summit
9:45: Descend
10:00: Start home
10:30: Return to Echols

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING:
– so many clothes. Expected temps are in the 30s. Wear layers.
– water
– flashlight
– sturdy shoes
– snacks, if desired
