Mountain Biking in the am – Azalea Park

OVERVIEW

What instrument does yo-yo ma play? ……… annnd hello to all you beautiful people. Interested in mountain biking a loop other than ragged or o-hill but still located close by in Charlottesville ? I recently discovered a track in Azalea park (located on the rivanna trail) that looked pretty fun to mountain bike. The park is located off JPA extended so not that far away from the shred shack. There’s a loop at the park and then I was thinking we could bike back along the actual rivanna trail for a bit. I estimate this route will take us no longer than an hour and a half. There are some downhill sections, so I would advertise this as an intermediate trip, but also I think it’s very doable and if you want to try then try I believe in you 🙂

The plan:
9:00 am – meet at shred shack and get bikes
10:30 am – return to shred shack
