OVERVIEW

hey y’all, it’s time once again for the monthly trail maintenance at walnut creek. this week, we’ll be cutting back some of the summer’s overgrowth, and taking out a few fallen trees. afterwards, we’ll bust out the bikes and spin for a few.

there’s over 13 miles of trails there, up the hills, over the rocks, and around the lake. there’s something for everyone, i promise. AND we’ll have 5 new mountain bikes, of various sizes, all of which are better than what i ride. soooo, if you’ve never been before, and want to give it a try…..

we’ll meet at 9:00 am at echols dorm. let me know if you need a bike (as we only have 5, helmet included). trail maintenance is from 10 ’till about 12. we can spin as long as you like, and if it’s as nice as it’s supposed to be, go for a dip in the lake afterwards.

Outdoors at UVa provides:

work gloves
mountain bike (5 total)
helmet (5 total)
