Seneca Rocks
We climb in Seneca this Sunday in Memory of Todd Skinner, the free climbing pioneer and author of books “Beyond the Summit” and “Modern Rock Climbing” who died Monday while descending the first ascent of a route in Yosemite.
To join you must know how to rappel and be solid at 5.8 outdoors.
We drive sunday early morning to Seneca, climb a couple multipitch routes ( difficulty depends on the participants) and come back late night. although we climb in the sunny side of the rock but it will be very cold and maybe windy. so if you don’t like cold please do not sign up, or if you signed up then don’t complain 😉
recommended clothes:
1-warm underwear (thin pants, long sleeve thin shirts: non-cotton preferred)
2- main layer: fleece shirt + fleece pants
3- windstopping layer: light breathable jacket and pants.
4- back up fleece jacket.
5-warm hat and gloves for belaying.
Trad leaders have privilage, but if interested in following, sign up. The final number of participants depends on the number of leaders who join.
everybody goes to the waitlist and I let you know by friday night if you are in. (I need to look for the number of experienced climbers on the list)

The club provides all climbing gear, gas refund.
You please bring, water, snacks lunch, sunscreen, appropriate clothes.
