Destination is Seneca rocks.
we will leave here sat afternoon. At our campfire at night we review basics of multipitch climbing, from strating on the ground to be back on the ground again including how to rack,how to belay a follower/leader on hanging belay, how to rappel down multipitches.
sunday morning i will take trainees one by one and we climb a two pitch route to demonstrate things. our climbing method and level will be selected according to the persons skills.
if you ever wonder you qulify for this workshop or not send me an email i probably know you. if not, please tell me a bit about your experiences on trad climbing, leading, rappelling.
dress extremely warm for night, hat and gloves are recomended.
for climbing day, fleece pants and jackets, warm but thin hat( under helmet), woolen gloves (for belaying).
water, snacks.
club provides all climbing and camping gear and a ride.
please pay attention: sign up deadline for workshop is thursday night and maximum # of attendees for workshop is 5 so i will let you know if the workshop i filled up.
intermediate/beginner+ climbers can join the trip but not the workshop. you receive another email for the intermediate/beginner+ trip 🙂
