My Yearly Pre-Finals Horseback-Riding Trip.

OVERVIEW

Hello!

Welcome to my yearly pre-finals horseback-riding trip. As with my other trips, this one is very beginner friendly. No prior horse experience required.

This year we will heading somewhere new. No more of the cheap, though faraway horses in Altavista. This time we are going to Star B Stables in Fisherville, near Staunton, about 30 minutes away, for a mid-morning – 11am – canter that will take us on a walking trail that runs over hills and across creeks, with views of the Blue Ridge mountains and wildlife (apparently, deer sightings are guaranteed).

So no one studies on Saturday mornings anyway, so come out for a relaxing study break before getting back to them books.

You: wear warm stuff (it’s going to be decent out – no rain, but 33-46 degrees – but who knows), bring food and water for yourself and an apple for your horse. And most importantly: $25 for the hour ride (we’ll cajol them to bring us longer, they usually acceed).

Club: pays for gas.
