OVERVIEW

WOWZA yeah this weekend is supposed to be 70 degrees again… consider me confused by the Charlottesville weather but consider me preETTTY excited to go biking and anyways since it seems summer will be coming?! returning/?! idk something for the weekend it feels like pretty ideal weather for a long ride up in the mountains.

The route we have planned is a combo between the narrowback loop (a flowy solid intermediate trail that is ~15 miles with 1500 ft of elevation gain https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/3771756/narrowback-mountain-loop) and the wolf ridge descent (a more techy tight steep downhill section that we will get to by climbing up a portion of fireroad https://www.mtbproject.com/trail/4297113/wolf-ridge-378). All in all the route totals out to about 26 miles with a little over 4,000 ft of climbing throughout the day, so definitely some miles and some elevation but nothing too too crazy. *the second climb (wolf ridge) is an added loop so could easily be skipped, but with the plan for cars this would mean that you would be hanging out in the parking lot while the rest of the crew climbed and descended on wolf ridge*

If you are on the fence about anything or have any questions feel free to reach out to me (704-661-9552) or shay (540-750-5431).
