Rock Creek Park
June 3, 2006 is the 14th National Trails Day so all over the country people we be volunteering at their local parks. All morning on June 3rd Rock Creek Park in Washington will have volunteers for trail maintenance, trash pick-up, and invasive species management. You get a free lunch and the opportunity to help maintain the great outdoors that you love so much. If you’re interested and would like to join, please specify which of the three activites you would like to do in the comments section and I can then e-mail the director. Also the departure for this adventure is undecided and the directions are on the website, so we’ll probably just meet up at the park. We can work out the car situation for anyone who doesn’t have a car or can’t get to the metro. The website for National Trails Day is
