OVERVIEW

It has been a while since I have led a trip (I guess November isn’t that long but it feels like it), so why not kick it off by resurrecting an old favorite? That’s right, after nearly 2.5 years “New Moon, Who Dis?” returns.

We will be hiking to Blackrock summit which is a big old pile of boulders that is a very easy roughly 20 minute hike from the trailhead. You can find some details on the hike here: https://www.hikingproject.com/trail/7088979/blackrock-summit-loop . We will be doing it as an out and back not a loop which might make it slightly shorter.

The Plan:
– 6:00PM Depart from the Student Activities Building
– 7:00PM Start hiking
– 7:25PM Watch them stars
~ 12:00AM Arrive back at the SAB (when we get back depends a lot on how long people want to stay, so we will vibe it out the night of)

What to Bring:
– Water
– Sturdy hiking shoes
– Snacks if you want
– Headlamp
– Layers, I am sure it will be chilly so bring way more layers than you think you need
– A sleeping bag. Like I said it’ll be cold and you will have a lot more fun if you are watching them stars from your cozy sleeping bag.
– Good vibes
Optional:
– A sleeping pad to put underneath you

****DRIVER’S NEEDED YOU WILL GET A PRIORITY OFF THE WAITLIST AND GET REIMBURSED AND GET A 50% TIP, drivers should also show up at the SAB with a full tank of gas****
