OVERVIEW

Hello friends! In case you didn’t know, the new moon is the best time to stargaze because you don’t have that pesky moonlight overpowering the gentle beauty of the stars. Which is why we are going to celebrate the new moon by doing some stargazing at blackrock. Blackrock is a very chill 15-20 min hike with a big pile of boulders that gives you a wonderful view of the sky from the top. We will stargaze, hang, talk, maybe listen to some music, and generally vibe until we all get sleepy or cold.

The Plan:
– 7:00PM Depart from Echols
– 8:00PM Start hiking
– 8:25PM Watch them stars
~ 1:00AM Arrive back at Echols

What to Bring:
– Water
– Sturdy hiking shoes
– Headlamp
– Lots of warm clothes. I know you think you will be fine but I promise you that you will be cold unless you bring lots of warm stuff.
– A light sleeping bag or blanket

****DRIVER’S NEEDED YOU WILL GET A PRIORITY OFF THE WAITLIST AND GET REIMBURSED AND GET A 50% TIP, drivers should show up at the SAB with a full tank of gas****
