Ever wanted to hike in the dark to find some sick cliffs with me and the one and only abhi sanjay?? Of course, you have! I want to maximize the amount of wild stuff that goes down on this trip and you need the sun do a lot of things, so I’m hoping to leave the campsite at dark to get the crags right as the sun comes up and take full advantage of the photons and also get some phenomenal views from the top.
We plan to warm up in the 5.7-5.9 range and then send some harder 5.9s up to maybe 5.11 if we’re feeling ZANY, but I’d say you should be comfortable climbing 5.8-5.9 to come on this trip.
I don’t plan to teach anyone any new skills on this trip, but I would like a mix of more experienced people and some people who are newer, however, I have to ask that you at least know how to top rope belay and have climbed this way before.
We will provide:
Ropes
Draws
Belay Devices
Moderate level of expertise
You should bring:
Harness
Shoes
Chalk
Helmet
Water
Food
Headlamp
We need a driver (or two) so priority off the waitlist if you can do that, also ik 1pm seems like an early end so if we have multiple drivers we could have some ppl leave early if tired and have others stay later if they want to
