New River Weekend with Extended Option!

OVERVIEW

Hey guys,

So Matt is doing a day trip up Sunday morning, but why wait to climb Sunday when you can climb friday!

Pre-Reqs:
– MUST HAVE A SOLID COMBAT ROLL FOR SATURDAY
– MUST BE ABLE TO BELAY, preferably lead belay for SUNDAY

Plan:

Leave echols Friday at 8:45
Head to kaymoor

then we will be camping, perhaps at Ray’s or Gateway.

Paddlers and perhaps other climbers can come up that evening to meet up at the camp ground.

Saturday: Lower New

Sunday:
We will be going to the lake! If you want to do harder stuff, you can join Matt Behrens trip that is coming up Sunday.

those who need to get back after climbing can, and those who want to climb one more day can too!

Monday :

Quick approach in to Cotton top, climb and head home!

SO your options:

-head up with me Friday morning to climb
or head up friday night with the paddlers
-Head home Sunday with paddlers or Monday with me

I’m not sure what the fee will come out to, but i put $30 for now, just make sure to bring money with you!
