NGRE 2019 — Endless fall Saturday morning hike

Since I will be doing the caving trip for Friday night, I will not be leaving with the main carpool, but I will end up at Ray’s campground hopefully at, or at least around 9:00AM Saturday morning. And we can then leave from the campground as soon as I get there. As such, I have changed the time to 9AM-12PM, I hope that it will not conflict with anyone else’s trips, as far as I am aware, it should not. I’m sorry if this is a problem for anyone. Besides the time change, it should run the exact same, I don’t even think it will run until noon since it’s 10min away from the campground, I just want to give extra time since it is my first time there.

Is anyone tired of tests and in need of a weekend in the woods to remember what else there is to life besides the next due date? Because I sure as hell am.
I’ve never been to the NGRE so I figured a nice 3~ mile hike would be a good way to start off the weekend. And depending on how Friday night goes, we *should* get enough sleep to actually enjoy the great view. We should get back early enough for people with afternoon trips planned.

This hike is is the endless wall trail (https://www.alltrails.com/trail/us/west-virginia/endless-wall), it’s listed as moderate, and has an amazing view.

TO BRING:
1L or more of Water
Breakfast/Snacks
Layers (clothing required, onion optional)
Hiking boots
Yourself

Other Deets
-This hike doesn’t cost additional money, just a reminder that the NGRE trip costs 10 bucks
-Once you get on this trip (and you’re sure that you’re on it, y’all should know how wonky the emails are by now) sign up for the main carpool no matter what
-Don’t forget all of the things listed on the main carpool, like how y’all need food (except for Saturday night dinner)
-I don’t have a car so I’ll be going with the main carpool, which also means that I need some drivers to get us to the hike
-See the announcement/main carpool in case I’m missing anything

-Gas is completely reimbursed for the weekend, plus the tip (max $20)
-Hard copies of all receipts are required to get your money back
