Nor. Va Mountain Biking at Fountainhead

OVERVIEW

Hi all!

Congrats on finishing another semester! We have a long break this year which means that there is plenty of time to explore. I just drove up to Arlington with a club mountain bike (Thanks Kit!) to take to the trails around here in the DC area. I am planning on going to Fountainhead Regional Park tomorrow, Monday the 21st around 1:00pm. This is a trail network dedicated to mountain biking. It looks awesome.

I can only fit another two bikes on my car. If you have a mountain bike with you and are staying in and around Arlington, McClean, Falls Church, or close by, I can pick you up and we can take your bike. Otherwise, if you have a car and a way to take your bike, let’s meet at Fountainhead at 2:00pm.

Because we are away from the gear room, we can’t take out any other bikes.

So the club provides:
-Gas

You need to bring:
– a Bike
– Helmet
– Water
