NRG Trad Lovers’ Retreat Attempt 2

OVERVIEW

This weekend we go to the New River Gorge and climb trad. Didn’t work out last weekend due to poor weather. There are plentiful options for what crags to go to, but here are some climbs I’m interested in doing:
Burning Calves (5.10), New Yosemite (5.9), Super Crack (5.9+), Four Sheets to the Wind (5.9+), The Entertainer (5.10)
We can do easier climbs too. I want to go to Junkyard wall – there is a lot of easier stuff there.

I am gonna try to let people off the waitlist like this (priority for driver!!!!!):

1 person who has some experience with trad / maybe wants to get some easier leads in / mock lead harder stuff
1 person who is comfortable toproping and maybe lead belaying but not necessarily
1 person who knows nothing but seeks eternal hand jams

We need a driver – if you are willing to drive you will get priority – gas reimbursed and 50% tip up to $20.

We will focus on doing trad but who knows maybe we will do some sport too. The climbing team already cancelled their NRG trip this wknd for weather but we are just getting started. It’s Monday how do you know what the weather will be this weekend. But if it looks really bad we will cancel.

The plan is to leave 4pm fri, climb sat, climb sunday leave around 2 or 3pm. camp at RAY’S CAMPGROUND my beloved. climbing team will be there so we can probably do some fraternization.
