NRG Trad Lovers’ Retreat

OVERVIEW

This weekend we go to the New River Gorge and climb trad. I am gonna try to let people off the waitlist like this:

1 person who has some experience with trad / maybe wants to get some easier leads in / mock lead harder stuff
1 person who is comfortable toproping and maybe lead belaying but not necessarily
1 person who knows nothing but seeks eternal hand jams

We need a driver – if you are willing to drive you will get priority – gas reimbursed and 50% tip up to $20.

We will focus on doing trad but who knows maybe we will do some sport too. The climbing team already cancelled their NRG trip this wknd for weather but we are just getting started. It’s Monday how do you know what the weather will be this weekend. But if it looks really bad we will cancel.

The plan is to leave 8am sat (come to party friday night), get to crag 11am. Climb camp at RAY’S CAMPGROUND my beloved. Wake climb leave 5pm return 8pm. Don’t have anything of magnificent importance planned for sunday night but we will try not to get back too late.
