NRGE 2021: Sunday Sport Climbing

OVERVIEW

Greetings shredlings!

This will be an intermediate climbing trip at Bubba City’s Sandstonia/Tattoo Wall on Sunday. We’ll roll out from Ray’s in the morning, climb for several hours, then head back to Cville.

We’ll cap the initial waitlist at 3 unless someone else with a car signs up, after which we’ll increase the trip capacity up to 8.

Climbers should be able to climb at least 5.7 on top rope, know how to tie in, and belay on top rope.

This is a NRGE trip meaning once you are let off the waitlist here, you should sign up for the NRGE main carpool trip.
Things you must bring:
– Climbing shoes
– Food
– Water
– Layers
– Climbing Harness
– Climbing Helmet

Things we will bring:
– First aid kit
– Ropes
– Quickdraws

We reserve the right to “ground” anyone who we think is being unsafe. Examples include not paying attention while belaying, throwing rocks, fooling around near cliff edges etc. This is a serious sport and we want everyone to be as safe as possible.
